Broken Ribbon's Featured Artist Jacenta Holtsclaw
Jacenta Holtsclaw is a web and graphic designer from Piney Flats, TN. Although her true passion lies in vectors, illustrations, and typography, she is currently cultivating her skills in front-end development and painting. She lives in Asheville, NC working as the Operations Manager for the abstract expressionist painter, Jonas Gerard.
In the future, she plans to continue to expand her knowledge and skills of everything digital design, while still finding time to play her banjo and fiddle, go hiking and rafting, and read a few books along the way.
Oh, and coffee; she really loves coffee.
To contact Jacenta, or to view more of her work, visit her website. She is also available for freelance design and photography projects.
When the Broken Ribbon staff began soliciting potential artists for our inaugural cover, we had a particular aesthetic in mind: dark, gritty, with a tinge of mystique.
Featured artist Jacenta Holtsclaw got our attention hands-down.
